  • April – Made it to round 13, exercise 1. (meaning all I had left was the 7’s). Burned 420 calories today.

  • February:
    Whew! I felt like throwing up the entire workout! Regardless, I felt good. Today included AB straps, and usually I feel like I just hang there. Today I actually was more in control. I did almost all the push-ups on my hands which I think is due to my new gloves! Didn’t finish the workout, but did get down to round 4 (10, 9, 8, etc). Next time I should finish!
  • March:
    I started strong. In fact, it was amazing how well I did with the Ab Straps. Significant improvement. Between my sinuses and taking a week off, I didn’t do as well as I’d hoped. Like last month, I felt the puke train and couldn’t go as fast as I wanted. My heart rate was 170+ the entire time. OY I swear I will kill.this.workout. Next month?

    Went at lunch for the first time. I liked it. I completed round 6, exercise 5. (The 9’s, 5th exercise). I think next month I should be able to complete this in :30 minutes. I was extremely tired from lack of sleep today. Every exercise was tough too b/c either it’s a tough exercise, or it was a double count. Really glad I didn’t do any pushups on my knees. Big change in the last week there!

    Made it to the first exercise of round 5. TRX was definitely a challenge. It really hurt my knee, but maybe with more time, my knee will adjust as I get stronger. If not, I’ll have to ask for some alternative exercises on a few of the TRX days.

    I finished 8 rounds. I actually improved on Ab Straps (didn’t put feet on stool between each one) and felt a lot stronger during today’s workout. Nice change!!  meh TRX! Actually, I honestly take that back. I secretly liked today’s workout (even if it was TRX). The exercises weren’t awkward movements, and I got a good sweat on. (which always makes returning to work a little awkward!) My back from Saturday is doing MUCH better. I put a little workout together yesterday at the gym which I’ll be doing weekly to prevent any back issues in the future.
  • March
    I finished 8 rounds and 4 exercises. It was rainy out so it was incredibly humid and hot in there. Just glad I went in, did the workout, and even managed to get a little farther than last time.

  • January
    I was ready-ish to head to t:e after work today, but I was really tired. Vegas woke me up 3x during the night to go out. Then… I saw this.. day17post
    The little motivation I had? Gonzo. OY. It turned into a “I’ll just show up, and see where I get. Once I got going, it was fine and my motivation returned. Need proof of how challenging the workout was? I burned 380 calories (usually I barely make 300)  I ended up completing the 14s. Can’t wait to attack this one next month!

    Sunday funday workout. I, again, finished the 14s. I did the Ab Straps this time though, which I think last time I did a mod.

  • February: 
    Just finished in 28:48. 3 mods including the atomic sit ups. For those, I just did crunches w/ the weight overhead. Really enjoying my gloves for the Chin Ups. (first workout with chin ups to test out the gloves) Did all the pushups too. (not on my knees) Really glad to continue to see progression. Hope I’m not sore for 3 days now!

  • February:
    Just slightly sore from yesterday, so I headed back to t:e today. Today was no joke. I’m pretty sure I’ll be taking a rest day from t:e tomorrow and swimming instead. Whew! the Push Up Jump Thru Dips were essentally doing a push up on two boxes set next to each other, then swinging your legs through, doing a dip and then swinging your legs back, doing a pushup etc. Yikies!! The jackknives made me feel like a porpoise. Regardless, I stuck to it and completed round 6, ex 4 with one mod.

  • February:
    Took yesterday off. Surprisingly not too sore from day 19’s killer workout. Today was tough in that it was a good calorie burner. 400 actually. Felt stronger today. I started at 3 reps and completed the 11 reps (round 9) through Press-Clean (Ex 4).
  • March
    Finished 10.1 rounds today. That means I got to the 12 count, which made me happy. Made it around 4 exercises further than last month! woohoo! that’s a nice improvement! (and I honestly sorta slacked a smidge…shhh.. who’s tellin?)

  • February:
    eh. not my favorite day. was glad i was finally able to do actual iso-lateral hops instead of side steps. it’s always good to feel progress. the hamstring curls hurt my knees so I had to do a mod. oh well. i went, i did it. it was nice to workout at San Jose on a Sunday. (Haven’t been to a Sunday t:e uh.. this whole year…)

  • January  29:00
    Holy cow I finished a workout. It wasn’t a wonderful time because I had to stop a few times. We did these in a circuit, so I had to wait for a station to open up a few times, then I needed an alternate to the Pistol because it kills my knees, and another because it turned out I was doing the Deadlift wrong, so on the SECOND TO THE LAST round, he corrected me. At least I finished though. Next month I should kill this time.
