Register to Win – Color in Motion 5k

PrintA few weeks ago, I got the chance to run my first color race in the Color Me Rad 5k, and it was so much fun!!

Since Adam and I ran the race with some friends and their kids (each kid was a different pace), we didn’t get to actually run together.

We were thrilled when we saw that there’s another color event scheduled to come to Jax!

The Color in Motion 5k will be at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center on Saturday, December 29th.  We’re definitely signing up so we can run this one together! These races are so much fun and definitely a blast to run with your friends! Here’s some info on what to expect during a Color Event if you’re unfamiliar.

Plus, this event falls on the last weekend before we run RAGNAR, so it’ll be a perfect distance casual run for us to do.

Here are some great reasons why you should sign up to run it too:

  • It will be a great motivator to keep exercising through the crazy busy holidays knowing you have a 5k planned right before the end of the year

  • It would be a great Christmas gift for your athletic friend in your life or your whole family! You could plan to run it together. Essentially you’re giving a memory of doing the event together instead of just another tangible item.

  • Speaking of family, kids 5 and under run for free! And strollers are more than welcome in our 5k. What a great way to show the kids that fitness is fun!

  • Color in Motion 5k donates a portion of the proceeds to charity. The charity selected for Jacksonville is The Hubbard house where there goal is “every relationship violent free.”

  1. If I could throw a color pak on any celebrity it would have to be Kim Kardashian. Most of the reasons can be found here:

    Some include:

    1. She had 21 chinchillas murdered to keep her left arm warm.
    2. She carries children in shopping bags.
    3. It’d simply be hilarious.

…and she ruined Prince’s concert. Who does that?

I’ve also previously liked and followed your social media channels.

I would love to hear your thoughts! Leave a comment!
